Function Technology (FFTec) is proud to present its
newly revised 75mm Throttle Body for the EVO and DSM
platform. FFTec’s revised 75mm Throttle Body
features double o-ringed roller bearings in place of
the older brass bushings. The new design ensures a
leak free seal while providing smooth operation. A
strategically placed retaining clip is added,
significantly reducing any side-to-side movement.
With the addition of the retaining clip, the
throttle plate has been machined to tighter
tolerances. This drastically aids with low RPM idle

and tip in. The
new throttle body shaft is also made of a stronger material
compared to the older modified BBK unit. This reduces shaft
flex during operation and is also less prone to failure.
Another useful feature with FFTec’s Revised 75mm Throttle
Body is that the TPS position is now physically adjustable. |

FFTec’s
Revised 75mm Throttle Body still retains its
original innovative features such as a billet
aluminum pulley which was designed with an identical
radius as the OEM unit. By having an identical
radius, it retains the use of the throttle cable
without worrying about the throttle body not being
fully opened during wide open throttle condition. |

Also, if
you have ever installed a BBK 75mm throttle body on
your vehicle, you already know about the
feather-light gas pedal feel that makes daily or
street driving miserable. FFTec’s Revised 75mm
Throttle Body (left) features a much thicker and
stronger spring compared to the regular BBK 75mm
Throttle Body (right). This feature makes the large
throttle body easier to modulate on the street. |

Lastly,
the throttle body has a standoff precision TIG
welded to it. Included with the FFTec Revised
throttle Body is a brace with all necessary hardware
for installation. The brace is used to support the
intercooler pipe and to keep the piping from
shifting or popping off under extreme conditions. It
is also worth noting that FFTec’s current ISC
Adapters will still work with the revised throttle
body. |
